Using this website
This site gives general information about septic tank installation. It is not legal, engineering or health advice. A site visit and a state permit decide what can be built on your lot.
Quotes and estimates
Prices and cost ranges on this site are general numbers from outside sources, not offers. A written bid after a visit to your property is the only price that counts. A quote request does not create a contract.
Permits and licensing
Florida requires a permit to build, repair, change or close a septic system, and the work is done by a registered septic contractor. DEP manages permitting in Leon, Wakulla, Gadsden and Jefferson counties (Florida Health). Rules for nitrogen-reducing systems depend on your parcel and can change. Results and warranties
A system that passes inspection still needs care. Pump-outs, lid access and service for any treatment unit keep it working. Wet seasons and tree roots can change how a drainfield performs over time.
